Hotel Germisara

Our room was spacious and clean, with a view over the resort, and we’re planning to return. We also really enjoyed the outdoor pool, which looks out at the nearby hills. We ate breakfast and dinner at the restaurant every day. Both meals had a nice variety, and the food was good.

We were three families, and one group arrived after dinner. The staff had kept their meal for them in a private area, so they didn't miss out. At dinner there are two wines from Minis winery and one kind of beer. The rooms were very clean, the food delicious, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. We’ll definitely be back.

We paid about 300 Lei per night, including breakfast, roughly $70. The rooms were clean and spacious, the Swedish buffet was varied and excellent, and the thermal water felt perfect. The pools are stunning. Nothing to complain about.

I visited the hotel spa without staying at the hotel, so I can only comment on that. The thermal mineral water was relaxing and eased fatigue and stress, as well as many health problems. It’s affordable: about 60 Ron on weekends or 50 Ron on weekdays, and you can stay as long as you like. Sauna, lockers, and towels are included, and the staff are nice and helpful. The spa is quite small and can get crowded, especially on weekends, with too few sunbeds. There’s no snack bar for refreshments. You can eat at the hotel's restaurant outside the spa, but the Swedish buffet has a meager selection. Even so, I’d recommend the spa, especially for middle-aged people, for its therapeutic and relaxing effects.
