The spot by the river is lovely, but I left after one night, even though I'd planned to stay for several days. The hotel felt cold, dark and dingy, and almost empty. At check-in, the woman at the desk ignored us until we had to make her acknowledge us. We weren't welcomed. The stairs were wet and had no handrails; there was no elevator or help with luggage. The restaurant wasn't open for meals, just breakfast, despite my specifically looking for a hotel with a restaurant. The rooms were sparsely furnished, not very clean and had few amenities, not even water. Breakfast had only three choices. The hallways were dim with extra furniture piled up, and there were no bathroom supports. The only other guests were some men in leather jackets who looked creepy. They need to learn about tourism and friendliness.

We couldn't get a good night's rest here. From our room on the second floor, we heard every step from the people upstairs. The room and bathroom smelled of cigars when we arrived and again the next morning, despite a notice saying smoking was not allowed. Noise was constant, with a train passing by about every two hours. Nearly ten went by in one night. The restaurant terrace was covered in dust. This "hotel" calls itself three stars, but I'd give it one and a half. Not a place for anyone who wants to sleep or relax.

The hotel smelled of sewage, the Wi-Fi wasn't decent, and the staff were completely unfriendly. There was no soundproofing, so the trains were painfully loud all night. There were COCKROACHES IN THE ROOM. Absolutely horrible place.

When we arrived, the sheets had strange spots and hairs all over them. It was midnight, and we didn't know if we'd find another hotel, so we asked the receptionist to change them. As she did, we saw that all the pillows were stained too, and she had to replace those as well. I'd avoid this place if possible. We were horrified. It isn't a three-star hotel, it's a one-star place.

The place looks really old, and we weren't given any toiletries. Still, the staff were friendly and the heating stayed on overnight, so I'd rate it 4/5. Kudos for that heating.
