Hotel Baril

The staff are super nice, the place is clean, and prices here are really affordable. There’s a gas station nearby, and the hotel is quiet. Some rooms are a little small, but that was fine for me and my family. The beds are clean too. Breakfast is good, though there isn’t much variety. There’s no balcony, unfortunately, but you can sit on the terrace and get coffee or tea in the morning. Tea and coffee are included with the room, so you only pay for the food you eat. One small thing: the door kind of slams shut like a magnet when you enter the room. It can be a bit disturbing at night, but you get used to it. This hotel is worth a try.

The bed was comfortable, although it’s one of the smallest I’ve ever seen. There are plenty of amenities, and it’s a pretty nice hotel. The layout outside is a little odd with the gas station in front. If you have a van or smaller car that fits between the buildings, there’s more parking behind the station, next to the hotel.

The attitude was really awful. We checked in in the middle of the night, and the person handling the keys quoted one price. When we went to pay in the morning, it had gone up. I told the receptionist what the other woman had said, and she called me a liar. The staff were rude and unprofessional and didn’t seem to care about customers. Breakfast was very poor for the price. I would NOT recommend this hotel. There are lots of guesthouses with much better service and prices.

The rooms and view were beautiful, and everything was super clean. This felt like an easy four- or five-star hotel; the only thing missing was a restaurant. For comparison, a two-star hotel near Prague cost €120, and the bathroom there was dirty, while Baril hotel was €50 a night and everything was in order.
