There’s potential here, but the house needs a lot of work. During our June 2025 stay, it was dusty, the kitchen was incomplete, some drawers were broken, the coffee machine was filthy, and the sheets smelled bad. The TV didn’t work either. The biggest concern was a camera in the living room. We felt very uncomfortable about it, and believe this is illegal in a private rental without guest consent. I can’t recommend the property.

We had a lovely stay at Andra’s house. The sauna and hot tub were a nice extra, and there was also a lovely dog. The staff were really friendly, and the restaurant was great. I can definitely recommend it.

In the morning, we discovered a beautiful, huge garden, all green and really well cared for. There were sunbeds, a ping pong table, a mini cinema among the trees, and a big play area for kids. It’s pet friendly, and there were peacocks too. The restaurant was great, and the food was fabulous. We’d been travelling in the mountains all day, felt exhausted, and needed somewhere warm. On 16 Oct, with temperatures around 0 degrees at night, most places we found hadn’t turned on the heat. We came here at about 10 pm without checking the online pictures first. The heat was on and the price was really good. The bed was comfy, there was hot water, the sheets and towels were clean, and parking was available. We’ll definitely come back!

I usually come for the food and the distinctive surroundings. There’s more here than a place to stay, with a restaurant and park, and it almost feels like glamping. There’s something for everyone, with both traditional and more modern options. The dessert was so good that everyone forgot to take a picture.

The rooms are clean and look out onto the green yard. The restaurant serves very good food, and there’s lots of green space and trees where you can relax. For me, this is the best option in Horezu.
