Pension Terra Nova

We felt right at home in a cozy room, with delicious food and drinks and lovely company. The hosts are precious, and the house has all the comfort and peace you could want, surrounded by beautiful mountains and forests. There are plenty of places to walk and breathe the fresh air, including Romania's tallest waterfall. Terra Nova is ideally placed near both cities and hiking trails. It was a perfect vacation, and we'll definitely return. Thank you!

Set beside a river and surrounded by mountains, Terrra Nova has a friendly, cozy feel, and the food was good. The owners are hands-on and treated us warmly, going out of their way to make guests comfortable. Even a midnight dinner was no problem. The service was excellent and the place clean. I gave it four stars because the pool wasn't open yet, though it was expected to become available soon.

Mihaela and Dan made us feel very welcome and took care to help us enjoy our stay. The rooms were spotless and the beds so comfortable the kids wanted to take the mattress and pillows home. Breakfast is included and generous, with eggs, local meat and cheese, vegetables, milk and cereal, bread, butter, and delicious homemade blueberry jam. The big yard has room for children and adults alike. Nearby there's a new 10 km bike track across the Lotru river, along with other attractions you can look up online. Perfect location.

We brought our six-month-old, and they had prepared a room with two beds and a couch before we arrived. It was quiet, just right for resting and getting away from the city. Everything was good, highly recommended.
