Ceramica Hotel

The receptionist was very helpful, and there are restaurants around. It's about a five-minute walk from I Mall. Good enough for a few days, and good value for the money. Thank you!

For a two-star hotel, the price and accommodation were fair, and parking was free. It's close to the Polytechnic student apartments in Tudor Vladimirescu, and city attractions are easy to reach by car.

The superior room looked nice and was warm, with good shower pressure and clean white towels. But there was a bad toilet smell that hit us whenever we came in from outside. I'd asked for a quiet room because I was tired, but we got the one nearest reception, where we could hear people coming and going, despite being told it was very quiet. At night the people above us were talking loudly and moving furniture around. It was so disruptive I went to reception to report it, and it took another hour, until around 1 a.m., before things quieted down. The reception staff were nice and helpful, but sound carries everywhere because the rooms have no noise insulation, which was a big minus for us. We also got one small shampoo sachet each, barely enough to wash a baby's hair. For the price, they could provide proper soap and gel instead of the cheapest products they can find. The worst part was the noise from the poor soundproofing.

Our flight from Berlin gets in late at night, so being able to check in at 2am was a real help. We stayed in November and found the place warm and peaceful, with great service. It’s a cozy spot right in the city center, and we’d stay again.
