We loved the little kittens and dogs that happened to be around, and the generous garden has plenty of spots to sit, eat, or unwind. It’s a rustic wooden chalet close to the main road but away from the traffic. You may spot a bit of dust or a small spider, which comes with being out in nature. If you like a warm host and the cozy feel of your grandma’s place, you’ll probably enjoy it. It won’t suit everyone.
The house has a real homey feel and an authentic character, and the host was kind and very helpful. The area is quiet, and the access road was manageable. It may not be everyone’s kind of place, but if you’re after that feeling of being at home, give it a try.
The evenings had their own soundtrack, with crickets everywhere and mountain springs nearby, and we could head out hiking with the two very friendly family dogs. From the rooms, the views are among the best in the area, while the fresh air and comfortable beds made for good sleep. The owners are amazing, and we also got to try delicious homemade food made with fresh ingredients from local people. It’s a colorful, lively place with a wonderfully serene way of life. Be loving and respectful of everything that makes the stay what it is.
The owner was really friendly, and they cooked very good food. The nature around the place is amazing too.
