Pensiunea White House

The basic information was missing, and it made for a very unfortunate experience. The police had shut the only road to the hotel for hours during what they apparently called "the worst snowfall in 5 years," but nobody told guests with bookings. We drove around in circles for hours. When we finally arrived, the man at reception just shrugged it off and was very rude. The service was extremely bad. The rooms looked clean but were small, and the staircase is a death trap. There are lots of lovely hotels on the mountain at similar or lower rates, also next to the gondola, with large, spacious rooms and more welcoming staff. Good organization, common sense, and polite service cost nothing. The lack of them costs customers.
