Dominic Boutique

The whole area feels peaceful, and the garden is beautiful. We stayed in Gardener's Cottage, which has been turned from a stable into a very suitable two-level place for a couple. I especially recommend coming in spring or summer, when everything is green.

We had the whole place to ourselves and it was such a nice experience. Everything was clean, and the four small cottages at Dominic Boutique have been refurbished in an old-time style. Tucked away from the village's main street, it's wonderfully quiet, a great break from the pace of city life. The cats there are especially sweet. Cosmina is a lovely host and a great cook. Ask her ahead of time if you'd like her to make a meal. There are also options in nearby villages like Saschiz, Mesendorf, and Viscri, or in Sighișoara, about a 30-minute drive away. It's set in a beautiful Saxon village in the Transylvanian highlands.

The cottages have bathrooms and toilets, wood burners to keep you warm, and beautiful antique Transylvanian furniture. There’s a shared barn and a lovely garden, so you can sit with other guests or find a quiet spot to read or play a game. Sighișoara is a 25-minute drive away, and some of the little roads nearby lead to wonderful views and picnic spots. It feels like time stopped here 50 years ago, with a wonderful rural calm that makes it easy to unwind from city life. Cosmina and the crew make you feel at home and cook excellent homemade food. Highly recommended.

The scenery is gorgeous, and the hosts are kind and welcoming. The host's food is a real delight, while the authentic decor and furniture add so much charm to the place.
