Hotel Delfin

Our room looked newly renovated and had air conditioning, a minibar, mosquito net and TV. The new mattress was hard, but there was enough room for a couple and our two-year-old. The beach is very close, and they offer half off the beach loungers, but only from the fifth row back. There’s no breakfast available. Parking is small and always full. They wouldn’t let us leave the car there, even though we put our phone number in the window, so we had to find and pay for another spot. The rooms aren’t well soundproofed either, and we could hear all the hallway noise.

Nice people, clean place, and close to the beach in a quiet area. Parking is the downside, but you can find paid spaces nearby.

The hotel is two minutes from the beach, and I paid 440 RON, or 100 €, for two people for two nights in mid-June. Good value for the price. The furniture, TV, sheets, shower and mini fridge at Delfin hotel are all new after its refurbishment. I’d have liked the reception staff to be a little warmer with guests, but I still highly recommend it.

We paid about 460ron, around 90 euro, for four nights. The rooms were small and clean, but they need to be asked to clean them or staff won’t come back on later days. The key card runs both the door and electricity, so the fridge stops cooling when you take the card with you. The receptionist, a blonde woman about 45, was rude and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend it for that price and service.
