The room was spacious, clean, and simply but nicely modernized, with everything I needed. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room made up for some of the restaurant’s shortcomings, but the food there is expensive. A meal is meant to cost about 20 RON, yet mine came to around 30 RON. That may not seem like much, but it adds up when you’re traveling with family and everyone has to pay extra. Even with two meals included on tickets, it was hard to avoid spending more. You may be better off eating at a restaurant right on the beach, where you might pay the same for better food in a nicer setting. The hotel restaurant has no air conditioning, and eating inside near the kitchen was impossible for me. There are only three outdoor tables, so getting one takes luck. My room’s view was poor too, just another building beside some trees, and the path to the beach was lined with smelly garbage.
