The owner welcomed us, and we had a lovely lunch and breakfast with fabulous dishes made in the local style. It left us with a great food memory. I LOVE balmosh.

The rooms were nice and the garden was well arranged, though the location itself wasn't great. The traditional food, made with local products, was super delicious. I found it a little expensive for the value, but the fresh air and good food made it okay.

A really good destination for a stay, and a great choice for tourists. The place is refined and clean, and it speaks for itself as somewhere to spend time in the Romanian countryside.

The staff were extremely nice, and it's a good base if you enjoy walking and mountains. They have a big, very friendly dog called Zorro who's lovely to pet. There's a wood-fired hot tub, a sauna, and barbecue facilities, though we didn't use the tub or sauna. We booked the accommodation for a large group off-site. The issue is that it's above the rooms where parties were held, so sleeping before 3am wasn't realistic.

This is a great place to chill in this part of Transilvania, with some of the region's best cuisine. It's also good for escaping, photoshoots, and video making. At around 1200 m, the location is Romania's largest mountain plateau, which means ski resorts and plenty of snow in winter. It's not far from Cluj Napoca, one of Romania's largest cities. Enjoy it, I did!
