Casa Moeciu Family

The rooms are nicely decorated to suit the villa’s setting, and the view is awesome. The place is beautifully situated, and the hosts are very friendly. But it was very cold, even in summer, and on our first night we couldn’t find anyone to help turn on the heat. The rooms weren’t very clean either. Still, it’s a very nice spot for a getaway.

We loved the outdoor trampoline, wooden playhouse, and zip line, and the owner was very friendly. It’s a beautiful country house, well kept, clean, and modern while still feeling cosy. The rooms are spacious and have excellent showers, with two extra toilets downstairs in the dining room. Recommended if you want quiet surroundings and plan to use the kitchen.

It’s a nice place for a few days, with beautiful surroundings and a good location. But the kitchen is awkward for a larger group: there’s little counter space and no dishwasher, so keeping dishes clean is a pain. The rooms weren’t very clean, there were spider webs throughout the house, and the windows had no insect nets. For grilling, bring your own coal. There’s no fire starter or blower to help light it. It’s still a nice location, and a little effort could improve the place easily.

The hosts made us feel very welcome, and the cozy, clean rooms and big garden made it easy for the family to relax and play in the sun. We also loved having the river right there for a barbecue. Bran Castle is nearby, with plenty more to do around Bran and Brasov.
