Alunis Retreat

The place was clean, cozy, and had tasty food. Everyone was so open and kind, taking time to answer our questions and share a smile. Alunis Retreat felt like a place run with care and integrity. It was a real pleasure to visit, and I hope to see you again. Thank you for those lovely memories!

The food was incredible, so make sure to ask for meals to be included. Iulia helped us put together the perfect Yoga Retreat, and the Ladies who looked after us were lovely and welcoming. The staff were attentive and helpful throughout. The views are breathtaking, and the place feels magical. We walked to the village and around the area, and there’s lots of nature to explore. It’s a peaceful escape from the city for a couple of days. I’d also recommend meditating on the lawn in the morning as the sun comes up behind the hills.

I’m grateful every time I come back. It’s a place to recharge, heal, and share time with like-minded travelers. The atmosphere is slow and nourishing, with wonderful staff, beautiful surroundings, and natural materials mixed with authentic traditional pieces.

The road in is a bit bumpy, but manageable. The host is kind and helpful, and the prices are fair. It’s a relaxing, pet-friendly spot, lovely even before the trees blossom and turn everything green. Breakfast is included, with lunch and dinner available for an extra charge. There’s an art center a few steps away where you can take pottery classes, and a beautiful old cave church right beside it. I hope to come back in summer.
