Hotel Decebal Neptun

The balcony looked out over the back garden and pool, and the room had a small fridge, TV, hairdryer, and AC. The architecture is stunning, especially knowing the place was designed during the communist era. It has that late 60s and early 70s modern style, and the location and staff are great. Room standards are clearly dated, but at a fair price it feels like a fun step back in time. I’d recommend it, and hope more hidden gems like this get restored and reopened.

It’s a good choice if you want peace and a chance to relax. The staff are super friendly, and there’s a pool. The rooms are nice and very clean, with balconies and a sea view, though the tall trees and green area in front block much of it and help cool things down on hot summer days. Parking is available on site, depending on how busy the hotel is. The train station is fairly close, and there are shops and restaurants around.

The balcony view is amazing, and the hotel is very clean. The staff are lovely and helpful, and the grass, pool, and trees around the place are well maintained. Neptun itself was disappointing, though. Everything felt overpriced and crowded, and it seemed the council had forgotten to empty the bins and clean the streets.

We’ve still got a few days left here, but we’ll definitely come back. The hotel is quiet, not far from the beach, and there are some really nice restaurants nearby. The staff are fantastic, the place is spotless, and everything follows the pandemic recommendations. I’d definitely recommend it! I’m not so keen on Netpun, but we’ve found some brilliant places 😁
