There are plenty of trees and flowers, the place is generally clean and green, the staff are friendly, and there's a food market nearby. It also has parking and an inexpensive massage chair. But I'd rate it two stars overall, even though it's a three-star hotel. There's no food, restaurant, vending machine, or coffee. The beach is a 5-10 minute walk away, and noise from the beach went on until 3 am. The building has been renovated but still feels old. The bathroom sometimes smelled bad, and the AC didn't work. We were there on 15 June.

Parking was by far the biggest problem. There aren't enough spaces, so you have to park in the woods. The hotel also needs an elevator, and the hallway carpets should be replaced. The views aren't great, and Wi-Fi only works in the hallways. The room itself was nice, with good AC, a mini fridge, safe, balcony, and tile floors in both the bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom was okay. Breakfast was a bad experience: it wasn't great, ended at 9:30, and every morning people were scrambling to get food. The buffet should be spread across more tables.

Nothing seems to have changed in recent years. The room and walls were dirty, and there were strange smells. Several things didn't work: the lamp, the soap dispenser, and the AC, which couldn't cool the air properly. The foil paper holder was missing. The neighbors were noisy, and kids' screaming kept waking me up.

It's a good place for a holiday. The hotel is close to the beach at "teras Bali", and you can see the lake and some birds there.
