Grand Hotel Caraiman

It’s a good hotel, though there are some small escapes in the outside parking area that should be changed. There’s no indoor swimming pool either, so if the weather’s bad, there’s nowhere to swim.

We were given a free room upgrade, and it was well soundproofed even though it faced the children’s pool and was close to it. The hotel is clean and well maintained, with hospitable, professional staff. The pool was clean and nice, and the sea is just a short walk downhill. The bathroom could be bigger, but otherwise I’d recommend it to families. Breakfast was good, and they still served it outside the usual hours since we slept in. The Wi-Fi wasn’t great, though maybe that helps you give your partner your full attention ☺️.

We’re a family of three with a 3-year-old, and we were delighted with our stay. The room was clean, though a bit small, and the breakfast had a nice range of choices. The facilities worked well for a family, with safe play areas for children and an excellent pool. Thanks to receptionist Andreea C. for being so patient and professional while helping us. We’re already looking forward to coming back in September.

We had a decent stay, and the staff were nice. The owner even offered us different drinks to make up for the reservation mix-up: it had been advertised as all inclusive, but that wasn’t the case during our stay in late September. The bathrooms are tiny, though the building has been reconditioned, so that’s how it is.
