Spring Holiday Orange

The lobby was a nice space, and the hotel is clean and newly renovated. I’d call it 3.5 stars, rounded up for Google. Service was better than average by Romanian standards, and I appreciated being able to check in early. The room was small but had the essentials. Breakfast and lunch were included, with a good selection. Rooms weren’t cleaned during the stay, though: garbage was taken out and towels changed every two days, so you have to ask reception for extra towels.

The hotel was good, but it was packed in the height of summer. Breakfast was a Swedish buffet, and we waited 45-60 minutes at the restaurant. Management could shorten the queue by rearranging the dining room so guests enter closer to the serving window.

Breakfast was better than expected, with plenty of tasty choices, and the staff were polite and friendly. The location and services were perfect. The rooms, especially the bathroom, were tiny. Cleanliness could be better: the sheets had stains, there was dust in the corners, and on our last day we ran out of toilet paper.

Really disappointed. The location was horrible, and the reception and hallways were dusty. The room photos were misleading: the room was much smaller and the furniture didn’t match. My sink was cracked all over, the drains and floor were dirty, and the lamp was broken and unusable. The price just wasn’t worth it.
