The villa was great, especially for kids who want to play all day. We had most of what we needed to cook our own meals, and two lovely ladies cleaned every day.

The villas work well for a group of six: there are three upstairs bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, plus a roomy dining area and a dishwasher. Outside, you get a barbecue and a place to eat. The setting is still very private, though I don't think it's making the most of what it could offer. Ceausescu built it for high-ranking communist officials to enjoy the Black Sea, so it used to be somewhere only a select few could stay. I don't really think about returning, since the wider Neptun-Olimp area isn't somewhere I'd choose to visit.

I came back after 10 years and found a lot broken. It smelled, it wasn't clean, and it just wasn't worth the price.
