Cristi's Rooms - Pensiune

The owners were very friendly, and the price was absolutely amazing. We had a quiet, well equipped room with air conditioning and a TV, good for watching a movie in the evening. The bathroom in our standard room was adequate. The inner courtyard was extraordinary, with a terrace and barbecue area too. My wife agrees, when we pass through Oradea again, this is where we’ll stay.

The garden makes this place especially relaxing. Our room looked out onto it, and in the morning we could sit outside listening to the birds. It’s about 1.5 km from the city center, so the area is quiet. If you don’t feel like walking back, taxis in Oradea are really cheap. We found the room clean, with fresh smelling sheets and a very clean bathroom. There are some bugs around the garden, though, including bees, flies, and mosquitoes, so bring bug spray if that bothers you. Toiletries are limited to hand wash, so pack your own. The room does have the basics like towels, a hair dryer, and a kettle, and cutlery is available on site. The host was welcoming and helpful. We had a couple of small room issues, and someone came to help almost right away. They don’t live there, but you can text if you need anything. There’s also a friendly dog called Lucky, who made the stay even better. For the money, I thought the facilities were well worth it. We’d happily recommend it!

Dust and dirt everywhere, and the owner was rude. I’d stay away.

It was very quiet, and getting to the city center took around 15-20 minutes on foot. The rooms were nice, and working with the host went smoothly. A very nice place.
