We spent a week here in Oradea and had a fantastic time. The apartment was new, nicely furnished, and roomy, much more comfortable than a hotel room and really felt like home. Mr Tobias was welcoming and accommodating. The pool was fantastic, especially in the hot Romanian summer, and there’s secure parking on site. It’s about a five-minute drive to the city center. This place is a real gem, and we’d definitely stay again. Highly recommend the apartments.

The rooms were clean, but the rest of the stay was a disaster. I felt uncomfortable the whole time. The owner constantly watched us and yelled about what we were allowed to do, and even the children couldn’t play peacefully by the pool. He also didn’t follow several things he’d agreed to when we rented the property. At first, we were told smoking outside on the balcony was okay. Two days later, he said we couldn’t smoke there, even though smoking on a bench five meters below was apparently fine. We were threatened with a bill if we didn’t stop, with the explanation that smoke from the balcony would spread too much. We were also charged for something we hadn’t broken. Outrageous. Other things happened that I’d rather not list. I wouldn’t recommend this place. You feel watched and uncomfortable, and it’s a complete rip-off.

The room was large, clean, warm, and cosy, and the host was nice. There are shops nearby, with a big supermarket a short drive away. I think it could be a comfortable spot for a summer break with kids by the pool. I recommend it!
