The owners kindly let us book just one night, which we appreciated since many hotels in the area require a two-night minimum. The rooms were incredibly clean, and the sheets smelled fresh, as good as ones I’ve seen in five-star hotels.

The sunset view from our room facing the inner yard was lovely, and the room had a spacious balcony. It was clean, and breakfast was decent. But the noise insulation was awful: we could hear doors closing and people on the stairs from any floor. Other guests cooked fried food in the living room without opening a window, and the smell reached our room and made us very uncomfortable. Nobody was wearing masks indoors, including in the shared areas during the buffet breakfast. When we raised these concerns, the owner said there wasn’t anything he could do if guests were disrespectful or ignored the rules. That response didn’t feel professional, and left us feeling this wasn’t a place for people with common sense. I was really disappointed, especially after choosing it because of its good reviews. I wouldn’t return.

Clean rooms, a good breakfast, and lovely hosts. It’s beautiful and close to the ski slopes. We’ll visit again in summer.

The view was amazing, and our room was large, clean, and had everything we needed. We had a fantastic stay.
