There is a community area on the first floor, and the place wasn't particularly dirty, though it seemed to get some cleaning. Beyond that, the quality was low. Hot water was only available in the evenings, toilet paper was sometimes missing, and there were no trash cans, so I had to use bins at the supermarket or elsewhere. The reception was always empty, the rooms had no curtains, or curtains that couldn't be closed, and the WiFi was far too slow to be useful. Breakfast was poor but edible. There was no lobby and basically no services.

It's clean and tidy, and the owner is always willing to fix problems, but the hotel needs a general restoration. There's no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up and down the stairs. Some rooms had a broken hairdryer or toilet flush, and in another, the bathroom door wouldn't open. Breakfast was poor, and for what the hotel offers, it is very expensive.

For a three-star hotel in the middle of a city, everything was as expected. The one issue was our south-facing glass wall, which made the room hot during the day. The air conditioning worked and cooled it down, though that came at an environmental cost.

The location was very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, with a comfortable bed, and we had a nice stay overall. The bathrooms and water pipes could use some work, but I thought it was good value for money and would recommend the place.

The city center location is the one clear positive for me. Breakfast was terrible and the room quality was low. Edit: I do eat pork. What you're saying is generally considered racism in the 21st century, so be careful. I've stayed at many hotels in different Romanian cities and was happy with those stays. If you can't treat criticism as something valuable, I'm sorry for you. Good luck :)
