We were four generations, from a toddler to my 87-year-old grandpa, and everyone had a wonderful time. The hills and quiet behind the house, plus the huge garden, made the location a delight and it was easy to reach. You can see how much care went into the renovation, with quality furniture and lovely interior design. The food was good and the customer service friendly. I planned the trip as a gift for my family, and we'd happily spend a few days here again, with or without family.

The house is about an hour from Bacau airport and made a great base for our 10 days in August 2023. We enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and living area, and time in the garden, whether the children were playing, we were watching nature, or having wine on the porch at sunset. There's plenty to do nearby if you want day trips: Neamt monasteries, Bicaz gorge and Lake, Rosu Lake, Cucuteni museum, Sturza and Cuza palaces, and hikes in local villages and woods. We could easily have spent the whole time in the garden, too.

The rooms have a lovely traditional look, along with modern amenities. Outside, the huge courtyard has all sorts of things for a pleasant stay: a barbecue, tables, fire pit, tree-house, and bean-bags. It's a beautiful spot to unwind in nature, and the host was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend 👌
