I stayed with my group for about a week. The rooms were clean and most of the reception staff were friendly and cheerful, but the old woman at reception was not hospitable at all. I was afraid she might bite us. I also had trouble with the food because I'm Turkish (aaauuu🇹🇷🇹🇷). The cleaners don't speak any languages besides Romanian, but they were very sweet.

It's right in the center of Ploesti, so you can easily walk to anywhere downtown. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and they serve a decent breakfast.

We love Romania and its people, and we've traveled around the country, so we know people there aren't all like this. Last week I stayed here with one friend, and my other friend gave the hotel a middling rating. This week I came back with another friend, and the woman at reception didn't like that rating. She warned us not to return. I explained that my friend had rated the furniture low, which is subjective, not the employees. She got furious and told us to go to Hotel Central, which costs 500 lei a day, if we wanted comfortable furniture. That wasn't a nice thing to say. She was unprofessional and unwelcoming.

The room had a very hard bed and just one seat, which was too hard to sit on. The air conditioner was noisy when running, so sleeping with it on at night was impossible. Service was very bad too. The woman at reception disliked the rating I gave during my previous stay and told us not to come back. She was rude and put this pressure on us every morning as she left for work. She has no right to say that. We pay to stay here, and I'm writing this honestly for people considering the hotel. I hope it helps.
