We spent five nights here with our two kids, at the end of April. Prices were more reasonable in the low season, and it’s a nice, family-friendly hotel. The swimming area was great for children, breakfast was good, and the location and views were a real plus. The staff could use better training for a hotel of this level. I also saw a bear on the way to the hotel, so I’d avoid going out alone at night.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Aurelius Imparatul Romanilor and would definitely come back. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent from beginning to end. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive. Having a restaurant on site made meals convenient, and the spa was a great place to unwind. It’s especially good for families. There’s an indoor playground, and we appreciated the animator keeping the children busy on Friday and Saturday evenings from 6 pm to 8 pm. Everything was just right for us. ❤️

The spa facilities were rather good, and the rooms were spacious, but they felt old. For more than 400€ per room per night, we looked out at cars in the parking lot. Breakfast was badly cooked and ran out of stock, and the service was average. It’s extremely expensive for what it is and definitely not worth the money.

The location was good, and the rooms were very big, warm, and clean. The staff were very nice and polite. Still, the bed was pretty uncomfortable, the food was average at best, and the quality didn’t justify the high price. They also seemed very understaffed at the start of January.

It looked really nice, but we couldn’t get in. My plane landed at 1 am, and my family had booked from the 7th to the 10th. We arrived on the 8th around 4 or 5 am, and they said the booking had been automatically cancelled because we were a day late. We’d already paid for four days, but they gave us neither a room nor a refund.
