Everyone was so welcoming, especially Sânziana, who was attentive and helpful throughout our visit. You can feel how much care they put into making guests comfortable. We had a wonderful stay at Muntele Rece in Bran: the food was delicious, the rooms spotless, and their cozy rustic feel was lovely. A peaceful getaway I’d highly recommend.

The room’s fabulous view and the friendly host made this a lovely stay in a quiet area. It was nice to have a pool table and table tennis, and breakfast was good, with vegetarian options. We found out quite late that the restaurant itself doesn’t really work for vegetarians. A menu displayed at the restaurant would help, and mosquito nets in the room might be worth considering.

From my window I could see both the castle and the cemetery next door, which is the main downside of the location. Rooms were incredibly clean, the staff were lovely and gave A++ service, and the food was plentiful and delicious. There’s no AC, but the temperature was fine. Food and drinks stop being served before 8PM, too early for me. Walking downtown takes about 20 minutes, and there’s no sidewalk because of where it is, with cars sometimes zipping past.

We enjoyed a few great days in this charming hotel. The rooms felt cosy and inviting, the food was excellent, and the service was very friendly. A lovely base for exploring the surrounding area. Thank you for the wonderful Romanian hospitality.

It felt like a home away from home, with amazingly clean rooms, a cosy atmosphere, and excellent service. The food was very good, and the view over the city and Bran Castle was beautiful. A quiet spot suited to work or a getaway. My best experience in Romania so far.
