The part we stayed in wasn't especially modern, but it was very clean. We had the three upstairs rooms to ourselves, since the manager rented them together, so the kitchen, bathrooms, and terraces were only for our group. That suited us well because we'd specifically looked for a place where we could limit contact with other tourists in enclosed spaces. The people were friendly and always ready to help, and the price was great.

The apartments were an awful mess. The rooms were tiny, about 10 square meters, and the bathroom felt like something from a horror movie. Floors creaked, appliances were old and dirty, and the serving glasses were cloudy from being overused and poorly cleaned. I felt like I'd been put there to clean instead of stay as a guest. They also don't provide receipts for payments.

The bed in my “room” was the worst I've ever slept in, full stop. I planned to stay five nights, but after that first night I'm cancelling. Honestly, even one star feels too generous for that bed.

There’s free parking on the property, and guests can use a fully equipped kitchen plus a roomy dining hall for breakfast or supper. A great place to stay in Sovata, close to Ursu lake.
