Not perfect, but it gets a lot right for the money. We had a good bed, a clean room, a well-equipped kitchen, secure parking, and a green area out back. The administrator even waited 15 minutes past the scheduled time so we could arrive and check in.

One thing to keep in mind is that this guesthouse is in the city, not the resort. We walked about 30 minutes over slightly sloping ground to reach the resort. It's right in the center of Sovata, with a welcoming host, a reasonable price, clean rooms, and tasteful decor. There's parking in the yard, which is nicely arranged with a table to sit at, and I noticed a barbecue too. I recommend it.

I picked this guesthouse because of its ruby color, and that was that! It was quiet and felt just like being at my mom's house. Everything was wonderful.

We stopped here while hiking the Via Transilvanica. Check-in was easy, our room was quiet, and the shared kitchen had everything we needed. There's also a Penny supermarket nearby. Definitely recommend it!
