We chose a table beside the little stream, and the water made a lovely background sound. There’s also a large courtyard with tables and awnings, so you can sit outside in either of two comfortable spots. It’s a great place to unwind for a night while walking the Via Transilvanica. The room was simple rather than fancy, but the bed was comfortable. There’s a drying rack in the foyer outside the room, which was handy for washing a few things by hand. The restaurant food is very good and the servings are generous. The Poppy Seed Strudel really is as delicious as people say. They accept Visa. Highly recommended.

The fries were heavenly, and the trout was fresh and amazing. I also had the best poppy strudel pie I’ve ever tried. I’d definitely recommend the restaurant.

The rooms are clean and have what you need, though they’re not especially spacious or attractive. With such a nice outdoor area, you probably won’t spend much time indoors anyway. A small river runs beside the restaurant’s outside tables, making for a really relaxing atmosphere. The food is good, and breakfast is free, with anything from the breakfast section of the menu available to order. There’s also a "ciubar" outside, a sort of wooden pool.

The food is very good, though some dishes can be unexpectedly spicy, so ask if you don’t like heat. It’s clean, quiet, and rustic, with a cozy, intimate feel. There’s even a little river running through the yard. Highly recommended.

It’s a good restaurant, but my Wiener Shnitzel was mostly a big, attractive coating of breadcrumbs. There was almost no meat, and what little there was was as thin as cigarette paper. I ended up eating a ball of soup.
