Vila Iunona

We had to leave the same day without a refund, then spent hours searching for emergency accommodation. Our vacation was ruined, and the whole ordeal left us shaken and bitter. Pensiunea Iunona in Costinesti should be avoided. Outside, there was toilet paper on the ground, a strong sewage smell, and a general sense of neglect. In the room, the bed was dirty with feces, the floor was sticky, and the linens seemed unchanged. The bathroom looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned in months and smelled strongly of mold and dried urine. When we raised this with staff, they were arrogant, mocking, and uninterested, with no apology or solution. They treated us with contempt, as if we were the problem. The place seemed abandoned in terms of upkeep and responsibility, and the online images were completely misleading. I believe it should be urgently closed by the authorities because of the public health danger. This is more than poor cleanliness, it’s a criminal disregard for guests’ health and safety. If you value hygiene, respect, and basic accommodation conditions, stay away. I wouldn’t recommend it even to my enemies.

A very unpleasant experience. After I booked for my family, the owner decided to overcharge us, showing a complete lack of common sense and seriousness. We were almost there when we found out we no longer had accommodation.

I arrived hoping to stay in this villa and was unpleasantly surprised. The villa was filthy and smelled of mold. The owner was arrogant and didn’t even speak Romanian correctly. I wouldn’t recommend the place even to my enemies.

The rooms smelled of mold, and you could see it on the walls. With 10 degrees outside, the room only reached 14, 15, and the owner refused to turn on the heat, saying it was August and I could wrap up more. Worst accommodation in Rânca. This villa is a mess, I don’t recommend it.
