A place.

The location is genuinely gorgeous, which makes the state of the guesthouse such a shame. On arrival, I went to use the toilet and found it clogged with toilet paper, with dirt on the floor. We were later moved to another room, but its bathroom had cobwebs and a spider. The bin had no bag or lid, the soap was used and nearly empty, and the shower was dirty. In the bedroom, the curtains were yellowed, the floor was dirty, and the furniture was dusty. The guesthouse is filthy and leaves a lot to be desired.

The host went out of her way to help us get there with the children, even assisting with the car. We’d been staying at another guesthouse in Ocna Sibiului but couldn’t remain there, so we called her in the evening to ask for two triple rooms for several nights. She managed to find us accommodation, though we only stayed one night. We first visited this guesthouse four years ago and were very satisfied, and this return was also a good experience. The host was kind, the location is wonderful and quiet, with mountain views and a dreamy landscape. There’s an equipped kitchen where you can eat, as well as a swimming pool, ping pong table, and a river behind the property. The food was excellent. My very picky child got a separate menu made especially with the food he wanted at every meal. We were with a group, and everyone was satisfied.
