The guide doesn’t shy away from mud, water, rocks, or hills, and the CF MOTO 450 ATVs have enough power for two people. If you’re after an ATV ride, I’d encourage you to go. Good option.

The owner is amazing, so kind and welcoming. Cold Mountains is a warm, cozy, clean place, and most rooms have a private bathroom. It’s ideally located near Poiana Brașov and the other mountain resorts and landmarks on Valea Prahovei. I recommend it with all my heart!

It’s a real feel-good place, with good internet and a lovely balcony view of both Bucegi and Piatra Craiului mountains. The Ghimbasel river runs behind the back gate, making for a nice morning walk or run. The garden is calm and pleasant, and the hosts were really nice, kind, and helpful. The space was very clean too.
