The wine tasting felt rushed: there was a lot of talk but little detail about the estate, its history, or the wines, then a quick run through five wines with just a few snacks. Service was extremely poor, even with only four tables occupied on a Monday evening, when I was told they were “busy.” The vineyard setting is beautiful, and the rooms are clean and nice. The food was average. The pool could be a real plus, but there are few shaded spots, and even though the terrace is right by it, you have to go through the hotel and outside to reach it because the pool is fenced off. Overall, I didn't find it good value for money.

Dinner on the terrace was the best part of our stop, with delicious food, a chance to try some of their excellent wines, and views of the green rolling hills. We were on our way to southern Romania and stayed for one night. The vineyard was beautifully maintained, and the setting was quiet and charming. Our room was comfortable, and breakfast the next morning was enjoyable as well. We'd be glad to return.

Come for a day or two if you want a new, really interesting experience. We found it perfect in every way.
