Hotel Cerna

I was there around 2018-2019, so I don't know whether anything has changed since. Back then, the view was beautiful and the hotel seemed to have potential, but the rooms needed tidying and the staff could have been better. It didn't feel like a place that deserved 3 stars, except perhaps for that view. The staff were a little rude, and when we asked for another bed, we got a mattress that had been under the bed 😭😭. The food was just okay. They also had sweets, but you practically had to FIGHT to get them 💀💀💀. I wouldn't recommend it, which is a shame given the view.

Even though the hotel was overbooked and called itself a 3star property, the conditions were horrible. The furniture was broken, towels and bedding were worn and cut, and there weren't enough working lights or sockets to charge a phone and use a lamp. Cleaning was poor. Breakfast had no variety, and restaurant service was slow, with bad food.

It still has the feel of a communist-era hotel, like you might spend hours waiting to get bread before leaving. The service was awful, and so was everything else. It's a shame people don't see they deserve better than paying these effing thieves.

The place is a bit dated, but it's very clean and the staff are friendly. Rooms have air conditioning, a TV, and a fridge, and it's very close to the beach. We had a good experience.
