The people were friendly, and the room was very nice.

We ended up not booking any rooms, since it was ultimately our choice and we hadn’t paid anything. We had originally discussed taking five rooms for relatives coming to our wedding, but one family had a death and couldn’t stay, so we told the owner we’d need to give up one room. Her response was that we had to take all five or none. She also said she’d wasted a day writing “a name on a piece of paper,” and spoke in a rude tone. The attitude and behavior were more than disappointing. I wonder whether giving up all five rooms would have meant five full days of work for her.

We arrived to check in and found there were no rooms left, even though I’d made and confirmed a reservation and told them we’d be late. First I was told we were too late, then that I hadn’t confirmed, and finally the owner said I hadn’t booked at all. The guesthouse is about 25-30 minutes from the center, not 10, and there’s one toilet per floor rather than one in each room.
