Pensiunea Casa Helis

Being right in the old town makes the room price feel quite reasonable. There are plenty of restaurants and fast food spots close by, and the rooms are clean with a little fridge for food and drinks. A supervised parking lot is also nearby for two lei an hour, which is a good deal.

Getting luggage there takes a little walking since Casa Helis is on a pedestrian street. You can park in front of Continental Forum Hotel or get dropped at the crossing, where taxis and other transport can leave you, then walk the few tens of meters. We’ve stayed here a couple of times with our dog, and it’s a safe place for the dog, too. The rooms are spacious, clean, and nicely furnished and decorated. Even though it’s right in the old town, it stays peaceful and quiet. The host is polite and helpful, with enough English to sort things out.

Right in the town centre, yet the surroundings are really quiet. My room was lovely and clean, and the service was great. I’d gladly recommend it.

The hosts welcomed us warmly, and we were even able to negotiate the price a little. Everything is right there, and the place itself is clean and quiet. There’s a protected parking area about 100m away for 2lei per hour, which worked fine. I’d recommend staying here.
