Sonne

The breakfast was included and filling, and I found the price a great deal for a clean room, comfortable beds, and a clean bathroom. It's around a 10 or 15 minute walk from the center. I'm not sure why it's rated as a two star hotel, since I've seen three star places with worse service and cleanliness. I'd definitely recommend it, and I'll come back with friends next time I'm in Sibiu.

Parking was a plus, and both the room and bathroom were clean. But the room is tiny and packed with mostly pointless furniture, with just a little fan and no air conditioning. Breakfast was mostly deli meat and cheese, vegetables that were old or not ripe, and eggs that weren't fully cooked. The coffee machine looked like it had never been cleaned, so I didn't want to try it. The bread wasn't very good either, and what was left over seemed to be served again the next day. Fine for one night while passing through Sibiu, but I wouldn't stay here with small children.

It looks a little dodgy from outside, but inside the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really good, and the value for money is among the best in Sibiu. The city center is about 20 minutes away on foot, or 3 minutes by car or taxi.

It's cheap and parking is free, with a supermarket next door, but that's about it for the good points. The breakfast was poor, the furniture old, and the beds uncomfortable. Heavy traffic at the roundabout made it noisy, while the rooms got very warm without air conditioning. The center is a 20 minute walk away, reception was often unattended, and there's no terrace for sitting outside. Maybe fine for one night.
