I’d happily come back when I’m in this lovely, cozy city. The patio was a favorite, whether I was having morning coffee, reading in the afternoon sun, or sitting outside with a beer or wine at sunset. The apartment sits high on the hill, just below the clock tower, and everything in the citadel is within a 10-minute walk. I loved the cute winding stairs up to the loft, which was comfortable and cozy, with a view of the clock tower from the window. The espresso machine was a nice touch, and the fridge kept my beers really cold. This was easily my favorite flat of the three weeks I spent in Romania, and it felt perfect in every way.

A quiet, roomy modernized place with a private courtyard, inside the walls of the old fortified city. The city center is only minutes away on foot.
