The basement kitchen was well equipped, with a fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, and everything else we needed. The property was very well kept, and the room had a queen bed and sofa bed for me, my sister, and two teens. The bathroom was very nice, it was air conditioned, and all the linens were immaculate. The old building has been renovated; the furnishings look aged by design but are in good shape, and the little decorations made it feel like stepping back a hundred years. We stayed last year and it was the best choice. My daughters loved it and are telling their Canadian friends about it. The city itself is a little gem, and I felt like I’d travelled back in time. We’ll definitely visit again.

The owner was really nice and gave us the room we’d asked for. We had almost no contact during our stay, which was in the covid-19 context. Our room was cool, nicely furnished, cozy, and had enough space for two. The view was beautiful, and although it’s in the center of the citadel, the street stays pretty quiet and everything is close by. It feels like living in a fairytale, and I highly recommend staying here when visiting Sighisoara. It’s worth it. 💛

The common kitchen and available bagagge storage were handy, and I liked our room. There was coffee in the kitchen but no tea when I stayed, though I’m sure they usually have some. The nearby hostel’s terrace and food were very convenient. The location is really all you need.

We’ve stayed in this clean, friendly casa four times over the last ten years and love it. The downstairs kitchen is superb, and we used it for breakfast and dinner every day. ☕
