Alexandrion Experience

The hotel was clean and modern, but the problems really spoiled the stay. The spa was just a pool, with semi-dirty water and lots of people. There weren't any parking spots available because people who weren't staying there were allowed to park at the hotel, which was full all the time. It was also very noisy. You could hear people walking, talking in the hallway, and closing doors, and since the hotel is right on the street, car horns started in the morning. The room thermostat and climate control didn't work, so it was too hot to sleep properly unless the window was open. Most rooms face the street, which is noisy. When I asked for the AC to be controlled, I was told that wasn't possible during winter. At 200€+ a night, I think I should be able to choose the room temperature.

We stayed between 5th and 7th January, and the other conditions were okish, but we couldn't sleep because a noisy group was disturbing guests. Their children knocked on doors around them from 1-3 AM for fun, while their parents drank alcohol in the lobby. I told reception, and they sent a Philipino employee to speak with the group, but it didn't work. They received 20 complaints that night and still did nothing. To me, that shows they don't respect their customers. People drinking and disturbing other guests all night is a big thumbs down.

The calm, relaxing atmosphere was a real pleasure, and the food was delicious. My room was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. I had a wonderful stay.

Breakfast was generous and delicious, and the rooms were incredibly beautiful, neat, and tidy. They also have the biggest pool in the area. The place looks amazing, and the people are so nice that you feel genuinely welcomed and well cared for. A wonderful place to stay in Sinaia.
