Alfinio Villa

The walk from the train station is described as mostly flat, but that wasn’t our experience. There are some steep stairs, which could be a problem without backpacks. We used Bolt cars around Sinaia instead, and it was very cheap, about £2 from the city center up to the villa. Just something to bear in mind, not a deterrent. The villa itself is beautiful, spotless, and in a stunning location. Our host was lovely and answered all our questions before and during the stay. The kitchenette was handy for tea and storing snacks, though it wasn’t really set up for cooking meals. Thank you!

We found the room clean, tidy, and stocked with the little things you might need. It’s cozy and peaceful, close to everything, and just right for a couple or someone traveling alone. A great affordable stay!

The hosts were very accommodating, even letting us leave our bags there for a few hours after checkout. It’s a cozy, quiet place and easy to reach on foot, even in winter. It’s also at the crossroads of the main street and cota 1000.

From the windows you can see rooftops, mountains, and forest, and the views are beautiful. The house is nicely designed over three floors, with large rooms and a kitchen equipped with a microwave, kettle, cutlery, and fridge. The bed was big, comfortable, and quiet, the couch was extensive, and the bathroom was spacious and pleasant. There’s parking visible from the room. Check-in is by entry code, so we didn’t meet the host; payment was taken from the card through booking or another method. The sound insulation is very good and made for a restful stay. The center is about a 15-minute walk away. The price may be a little high, but I thought it was worth it. I wouldn’t walk there at night, though: the forest is nearby and bears had been reported on that street in the evenings and at night, so traveling by car is better.
