Vila Arizto

We had a lovely stay and are already hoping to return for another holiday. The owners and staff were warm, and the place felt peaceful and welcoming to children. The owners speak English too, which made communication easier for foreign guests. Our flat had two bedrooms, a bathroom with a large shower, and a bright lounge. We asked for an extra bed and they gladly helped with that and our other requests. Since it’s a bed and breakfast, they ask about food allergies; breakfast was generous, with lots to choose from. It’s high up, which makes sense in mountain Sinaia, and close to 'telecabina'. It seems like a good base for skiing in winter.

We had such a relaxing weekend at Vila Arizto and will certainly return. The area is quiet, with lovely scenery, and parking was easy to find. There’s also a great Hungarian Restaurant nearby. Our room was spacious, with a little balcony and a great view. The bathroom was huge, the shower had strong pressure, and we could set the heater to the temperature we wanted. The owner was friendly and very helpful, and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was among the best we’ve had. We highly recommend staying here.

It’s a quiet spot close to everything, so we left the car and walked everywhere. Peles castle was about a 20-minute walk, and the city centre took around 10 minutes. Parking is on the road next to the Vila. The historic building is very clean, breakfast was perfect, and the host was the best.

We found the room a little chilly because there wasn’t any heating at this time of year, though it didn’t bother us much. The villa itself is lovely and intimate, with excellent breakfast, the best we had in Romania. The hosts were warm and helped with every question and request.
