Irish House

The portions are generous and the value is hard to fault. The restaurant is close to the fountain in Sinaia, and the staff are friendly. Some speak English extremely well, while most speak at least a little and seem accustomed to visitors who don’t know Romanian. The local dishes were better than the pizza, which was just okay. I also tried the local beer, and the wine came in huge glasses. We didn’t stay at the hotel, so I can’t comment on the rooms.

A lively, fun spot with friendly staff. The ciorba and Greek salad were delicious, and it was great to find Guinness and shepherd’s pie too. A nice choice if you’re after a bit of British or Irish food and culture. Congratulations! 🙏👍😎

We were very hungry, but still could barely finish the soup, and the kids wouldn’t touch the pizza. The pizza was more like a pancake with cheese than pizza, and the soup was rubbish too. The food was disgusting. I’d strongly recommend eating somewhere else.

I asked to take my leftovers home, but when I opened the box there was maybe half of what I’d actually left on my plate. That felt dishonest and was unacceptable. The food itself was a huge letdown, not tasty and far too expensive. A terrible experience for the money. I won’t return and can’t recommend the place.
