Being so close to Peleș Castle and Pelișor Castle was a real plus. We came for a weekend hoping to enjoy the snow, and had a great time. Our room was 201 on the second floor, with a king-sized bed, a huge wardrobe and bathroom, two sinks, and a bathtub. There was also a cozy corner with two armchairs and a small coffee table. I especially liked the balcony, even though it was too cold to sit outside. The restaurant is small but pleasant, and the food was tasty and came quickly. The staff were polite, and even brought us our keycard after we left it at the restaurant.

The rooms stayed very warm, even though we kept the radiators off most of the time, and the location was nice. The staff were very polite. The bed setup was less comfortable: it was two single mattresses pushed together, which didn't feel right for a couple. A double sheet over both would help.

After hours on the road, we politely asked the woman and man at reception if we could use the toilet before having lunch at the hotel restaurant. They said we'd have to pay first, and spoke to us very rudely. We felt uncomfortable and left. What a shame.

Charging 50 RON (€10) for this is hard to believe, especially with the guy being rude about it. A room for the night is only 200 RON, so that works out to four toilet visits. Insane.
