Vila Acvila

The villa and its location are lovely, and the staff were friendly and quick to respond. But the rooms were nothing like the photos. There was no hot water in any of them, and every room had moisture damage, with a strong mold smell. When I raised these issues, the basic response was denial. The nice setting is the only reason I gave it two stars.

We really didn't enjoy staying here. The quiet, beautiful setting and the nice-looking exterior were the good parts, and the yard was pleasant too. Inside, though, the room and bathroom weren't clean, the kitchen dishes were somewhat dirty, and the floor creaked. There was also a strange damp smell, and the hot water barely worked, so taking a shower was a struggle.

After a full day of trekking, I reached the place during the hours stated in my booking and called the contact number. The person who answered said it was too late to come and give me the key. I was exhausted, and this was the worst experience I can imagine having.

The villa sits among the forest in a beautiful spot, and it was a pleasure to stay there and relax. The owners and staff were lovely and welcoming.
