We had a short city break here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The owner was the warmest, kindest person I've met, and gave us a beautiful room with a breathtaking balcony. I also treated myself to a spa treatment and massage from the Thai lady Mala, which brought me back to life. The personal attention made us feel comfortable and welcome. The rooms and decor are amazing, clean, and well maintained. A lovely place to visit, relax, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended!

The mountains looked especially lovely from the terrace, where I’d sit with a glass of wine and enjoy the quiet. Vila Siam also made everything easy, with staff who welcomed me warmly, suggested local attractions and arranged transport. It’s a hidden gem, and my stay went beyond what I expected. I’d recommend it to anyone after a peaceful boutique getaway in Romania.

The setting feels like a fairy tale, with mountains, lush forests and a pretty little village all around. We made daily walks part of our stay. Inside, we loved the jacuzzi and its view, the dreamy bed, Thai silk and detailed wall features. Buddhist art sits alongside chandeliers and contemporary paintings, giving the place a charming East and West mix. We travel a lot, especially in Asia, so finding a little taste of Thailand in Slanic Moldova was a treat. The owner’s fondness for Thailand, once known as Siam, comes through. Service had that same old-world charm, and it was a lovely escape from the ordinary.

Carmen, the hostess, was very charming and friendly. There’s free parking, and the Wi-Fi is fine. I also liked the original design and the attention to detail. The balcony view is incredible.
