The conference room worked well and had everything we needed. Its connection to the kitchen caused some interruptions, though, as staff came into the hall without realizing an event was underway. The breakfast was lovely, but some plates hadn’t been cleaned properly and we had to ask for replacements. In our room, the shower handle was broken so we couldn’t use the shower. Cleanliness fell short of what we expected: the bed linen was torn in places, and the pillowcase looked and smelled used. The front desk has a 60s-70s look, while the rooms seem a bit more modern, from the 2000s. The hotel has what you need, but it badly needs refurbishment.

The bathroom was full of mold, the sink was nearly unusable, and the room felt like cheap kitsch. The air conditioning didn’t work. You don’t want to stay here!

The receptionists were helpful and the food was okay, but this used to be a lovely hotel and now it needs refurbishment. Some work is underway, with the top floors closed. We’d only return after it’s refurbished.

The hotel has potential because it’s near the center, but management needs to address how dirty it is. The rooms don’t look like they do online. One star because the place is very dirty.

There’s what you need in a hotel room, though the water can be iffy when you shower. Still, it’s not a bad place.
