One staff member really tried to make things better. She was the only one cleaning rooms during her shift, and she always checked whether I needed anything extra. I stayed for a longer period but had to leave, I believe because of the owner’s policy. Everything felt budget-minded even though I’d paid the full asking price without bargaining. There was no heat, the food was basic with very few ingredients available, and parking was so limited that getting in or out each day was like playing Tetris. It might be okay for one night on the way somewhere, but I wouldn’t recommend a longer stay.

Nothing particularly good or bad, just a mediocre, ordinary hotel. The bathroom was huge, though.

A few years ago I would have rated this place 5/5, since everything was fine then. That’s changed. In recent months the owner has been bringing in large groups, often young people, and their late evening noise has made life difficult for those staying medium or long term. Relly at reception is the one bright spot. She’s wonderful and does her best to help, but I won’t come back because of management’s choices.

A discreet, nice place in Tg Jiu, close to the Brîncusi Unitary Park of Tg Jiu. Not bad at all.

Clean and comfortable, with parking inside. It’s a walk from the center, but the value for the price is hard to beat.
