Hotel Privo

Good food and nice staff. The bed was uncomfortable, and the lighting was poor. It's a very modern, newer hotel with minimalist decor.

I liked the spacious, modern rooms, the peaceful location, and the free parking. The staff were friendly and professional, and check-in and checkout were easy. It's a quiet spot that worked well for business and relaxing. Breakfast was mediocre, though, with limited choice, and the chair in the room is basically a plastic cube. It gets uncomfortable if you need to work at a desk.

The hotel feels very modern, but even someone comfortable with technology may find the air conditioning and phone hard to figure out without instructions. The A/C only has settings from -3 to +3, and nobody, including the staff, could explain what 0 meant. There's no phone directory or reception button in the room, so you have to go downstairs to contact anyone. There wasn't bottled water either, and they suggest using the minibar. I wouldn't call this a 4-star hotel.

The design is impressive, both outside and in the rooms. You can tell good architects worked on it. But the cleanliness was baffling: smashed mosquitoes on the walls, hair in the bathroom, and rubbish left by the previous guests. Breakfast had a good range and tasted good, but seeing how the rooms were kept made me question the hygiene. A strange place. We were glad it was just one night, and we won't come back.
